The Academy’s Master of Sports Science degree in Sports Studies allows students to create a curriculum specific to their interests in the sports world in both the sports management and sports coaching departments. In this area, students will work closely with an advisor to develop a personalized course of study based upon their individual needs.

The graduate curriculum in Sports Studies gives the student knowledge and skills in the sport disciplines of his/her choice. The curriculum consists of a minimum of 33 semester hours, but students may take additional courses to explore the full scope of the role of sports in society.

Admission Requirements
Students applying for the Academy’s graduate degree programs must submit all previous official transcripts and have finished an undergraduate program with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must also prepare a written personal statement with an autobiography, career plans and expected goals for pursuing a master’s degree from the Academy.
