Chair of Recreation Management

The Departmental Chair will provide instruction in both residential and online settings, undertake administrative activities in the Division of Academic Affairs; provide academic, portfolio, and mentorship advising to students and assist with curricular development and course writing for the discipline.  In addition, the faculty member will also seek out grant opportunities and undertake such research and writing as needed for professional development, and participate in service activities as requested.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in sport (or a related discipline) with at least five years teaching and supervisory academic experience in higher education and evidence of scholarly production are required. Experience in administering academic programs in a non-traditional setting and via asynchronous, on-line delivery is required and the candidate must possess demonstrable and developed computer skills.

Chair of Sports Exercise Science

The Departmental Chair will provide instruction in both residential and online settings, undertake administrative activities in the Division of Academic Affairs; provide academic, portfolio, and mentorship advising to students and assist with curricular development and course writing for the discipline. The faculty member will also supervise the activities in the Human Performance Laboratory, fitness facilities, and Sports Medicine Lab.  In addition, the faculty member will also seek out grant opportunities and undertake such research and writing as needed for professional development, and participate in service activities as requested.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in Exercise Science (or a related discipline) with at least five years teaching and supervisory academic experience in higher education and evidence of scholarly production are required.
