Bachelor of Sports Science (B.S.S.)

The Academy offers one-of-a-kind online sports bachelor’s degrees in sports coaching, sports management, sports studies and sports strength and conditioning. Each program is specifically designed to meet the needs of up and coming sports professionals in one of the quickest growing industries in the world.

All undergraduate degrees are upper-division programs. Student will complete 60 lower-division semester hours (a minimum of 30 semester hours required by transfer to begin) and 60 upper-division sport-specific semester hours to obtain the Bachelor of Sports Science degree.

Master of Sports Science (M.S.S.)

The Academy offers a 33 semester-hour program leading to a Master of Sports Science (M.S.S.) degree. Students may also pursue a combination of any of the sports master’s degree areas leading to a dual major, for a total of 42 to 45 semester-hours depending upon the area of study.

The Academy offers a Master of Sports Science degree with 33 semester hours in the following majors: Sports Coaching, Sports Health and Fitness, Sports Management, Sports Studies, and Recreation Management.

Doctor of Education in Sports Management (Ed.D.)

The Academy’s Doctor of Education program is a 66 semester hour program. The curriculum is designed to enable recent master’s degree graduates, working professionals and sports enthusiasts to achieve their personal, educational and professional objectives.

There are three areas of specialization with the Ed.D. and students must select one: Leadership, Marketing, or Human Resource Management. Students in the Academy’s doctoral program may add to the 66-semester hour program an Emphasis in the areas of: Olympism, Sports Theory, Sports Coaching, Sports Health & Fitness, or, for those already licensed or certified in the area, Sports Medicine.
