2010 Sport Artist of the Year Headlines Show

“One on One” by TAFA

TAFA, the American Sport Art Museum & Archives (ASAMA) Sport Artist of the Year for 2010, will have his works on display during a public art show at the United States Sports Academy at 5 p.m. Thursday, 21 January.

TAFA, a native of Ghana, is the first African artist to be honored by ASAMA. He currently resides in Harlem, New York. The subjects of his sports paintings include tennis players Serena Williams and Pete Sampras, boxing legend Muhammad Ali and the sport of basketball.
