A new agreement has been signed between the United States Sports Academy and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), continuing an eleven-year relationship between the two parties. Dr. T.J. Rosandich, Vice President and COO of the Academy, attended a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony in Thailand on Wednesday, 20 May 2015.In the past, the Academy and the SAT would annually sign a new agreement for delivery of the international certification programs to student coaches in Thailand. The newly signed MOU has renewed and extended the current agreement, prolonging the contract for a total of five years.
This will give the Academy a longer period of time to prepare and deliver the International Certification in Sports Management (ICSM) and the International Certification in Sport Coaching (ICSC) programs to the student coaches at the SAT.
The Academy has delivered these programs in Bangkok every year since the relationship first began in 2003. Prior to signing the new MOU, Dr. T.J. Rosandich stopped by to visit with current students and faculty members who are participating in this year’s programs.
The Academy’s ninth annual Sports Study Tour of the U.S. is planned to begin in Los Angeles, CA, on Tuesday, 25 August 2015. The tour, delivered in cooperation with the SAT, is provided to the top students of the ICSM and ICSC programs. The students will visit major sports venues across the United States, concluding at the Academy’s campus in Daphne, AL.
