The Gerlev and P.E. Sports Academy was founded in 1938 and is located in the Western Zealand part of Denmark, an hour from Copenhagen. Its course offerings include lessons in such activities as dancing, fitness and massage, martial arts and skiing/snowboarding. Lessons are also taught in such areas as philosophy, psychology, society debate, media production, music and theatre. Students stay on campus with classmates for course terms that can last as long as four months and as short as a week.
