DAPHNE, Ala. — National Junior Honor Society officers from Daphne’s Bayside Academy recently visited the United States Sports Academy in Daphne to make their contributions for Toys for Tots, culminating the group’s fall service project. This is the 20th year the United States Sports Academy has served as a collection center for the annual Toys for Tots program in coordination with the Jesse Andrews Jr. Marine Corps League Detachment of Daphne. Donated toys go to children in the area who need them most this time of year. The Academy has collected tens of thousands of toys since it became involved in Toys for Tots, a national effort of the Marine Corps Reserve.
