Academy Vice President and COO Dr. T.J. Rosandich is presenting at the 7th World Summit on Internet and Multimedia in Beijing, China.

The 2011 WSIM scheduled September 21-23 is dedicated to “Digital Creative Industries and Lifestyle.” Main topics are: economy, entertainment, gaming, tourism and sport.

Dr. Rosandich is giving his presentation on Digital Technology and Management in Sports at WSIM, which is a global event and hosted by the International Federation of Multimedia Associations (IFMA).

By selling advertising within the statistical boxes that will be displayed on the video play back boards in the stadiums, teams can now generate more revenue. One team projects it will add more than a $1 million in new sponsorship revenue this football season.

The WSIM speakers invited by IFMA include international senior representatives and experts from United Nations agencies, international professional and industrial associations, research and educational institutes, related international companies in multimedia, and the internet and digital media industry. Participants are from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.

They will explore present international excellence, a global development strategy and future trends, and promote worldwide opportunities and projects for the digital media industry.

The WSIM’s three-day summit will cover: Interactive games and digital entertainment, wireless multimedia and mobile contents, digital films and internet TV, new media arts and digital culture, digital media education and training, e-health and e-pharmacy, digital technology and management in sport, digital technology and management in tourism and leisure, social media and digital lifestyle in future, digital cities and e-government, digital earth, digital innovation and investment, digital business, internet services, and green electronic environment.
