Phil Raschker was named USA Track & Field Athlete of the Week after winning 10 medals at the recent 2010 World Indoor Masters Athletics Championships in British Columbia, Canada.
Raschker, 63, received a 2009 Distinguished Service Award from the United States Sports Academy for her continued excellence in senior track and field events. Her run of success continued in British Columbia, where she won golds in the following events in the women’s class for 60-year-olds: 200 meters, 400, 60 hurdles, pole vault, long jump, triple jump and the indoor pentathlon.
She also had silvers in the 60-meter sprint and high jump, and anchored an 800 relay team that finished with bronze.
Raschker is a tax accountant from Marietta, Ga. She is also a member of the Academy’s Board of Visitors.
