Programs Continue in Kingdom of Bahrain

President of the Bahraini Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, meets with Academy Vice President Dr. T.J. Rosandich to discuss sport programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The United States Sports Academy and the Kingdom of Bahrain have agreed to continue their longstanding relationship, as the Academy will continue to deliver its sport programs to the nation.

The Academy currently delivers its International Certificate in Sports Management (ICSM) program in Bahrain. In 2011, the Academy’s International Sport Diploma program will be implemented for the General Organization for Youth in Sports (GOYS).

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the head of Bahrain’s Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, discussed initiatives with Academy Vice President Dr. T.J. Rosandich during recent meetings.

Still an active sportsman, the Bahrain youth and sport leader won the 160 kilometer event in the 2009 Thetford Horse Endurance Rides in Norfolk, UK. He will be competing in the Kentucky Cup Horse Endurance Race in Lexington, Ky. this fall.
