Road Scholar Group Visits Academy's Museum

About 45 members of the Road Scholar program at the University of South Alabama visited the American Sport Art Museum and Archives (ASAMA) on Thursday, March 8.

The group of seniors from the Beckwith Episcopal Camp & Conference Center in Fairhope, Ala., toured ASAMA, the largest collection of sport art in the world, as part of South Alabama’s continuing education program for students age 55 and older. For more than 20 years South Alabama’s Road Scholar program has offered educational and fun field trips and classroom activities.

There are no prerequisites, tests, grades, or homework. Tuition includes lodging, food, classes, field trips and extra-curricular activities. Road Scholar, the not-for-profit leader in educational travel since 1975, offers 6,500 educational tours in all 50 states and 150 countries.
