DAPHNE, Ala. – Sports fans, set your online-viewing alarms to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the next edition of the United States Sports Academy’s Sports Talk program.
This week Sports Talk moderator Dr. Arthur Ogden welcomes Dr. Tim Foley and Mr. Jack Kerwin to the show, where they will discuss the return of Pete Rose to the Major League Baseball scene courtesy of Fox Sports hiring him as an analyst. Foley, having played first base at Kansas State University, is one of the resident experts at the Academy while Kerwin has seen a “couple” games courtesy of covering minor-league and major-league baseball for more than a decade when he was a sports writer. He might even remember Rose leading his hometown Philadelphia Phillies to their first World Series title back in 1980. To view the program live, visit the Academy’s Google Plus page at http://google.com/+UssaEdu.
Sports Talk features commentary on a wide range of current events in the sporting world, usually in a panel-discussion forum with Ogden, Chair of Sports Management at the Academy, serving as moderator. That is the format for this episode after back-to-back weeks of one-on-one interviews.
In addition to being available live, the program will be available for viewing afterwards at the USSA’s YouTube site at https://www.youtube.com/user/USSportsAcademy.
