Sports fans mark your calendars for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the next edition of the United States Sports Academy’s Sports Talk program.

This week the Sports Talk panel will discuss, “NBA star Paul George’s injury and what it means for sport facilities.” After his horrific injury on Friday, some serious questions have been raised, which involve much more than sport facilities – and the ramifications will reverberate throughout college sports, as well as international competition.

Moderated by Dr. Arthur Ogden, Chair of Sports Management at the Academy, the program features commentary on a wide range of current events in the sporting world from a panel of experts from The Sports Academy.

Along with Dr. Ogden, the panel will include Dr. Tim Foley, Dean of Student Services, and Dr. Fred Cromartie, the Director of the Doctoral Studies program.

The program will also be available for viewing afterwards at the USSA’s YouTube site at https://www.youtube.com/user/USSportsAcademy. The USSA’s Sports Talk program features discussions on current sports topic each week by Academy faculty and staff.
