BSS in Sports Strength and Conditioning
Sports strength and conditioning specialists leverage scientific knowledge to improve performance. The United States Sports Academy’s bachelor’s degree in strength and conditioning will prepare you for collegiate or professional positions combining strength training, aerobic conditioning, and other science-based methods to help athletes improve their performance. You’ll also focus on athlete health and injury prevention. This program also fully prepares you to further your education in a master’s level sports discipline.
Here are a few more ways our program stands out:
Online or in-person program. All Academy exercise science courses are online. Beginning in fall 2023, this program will be offered in-person on the Academy campus, too.
National certification preparation. With our degree in strength and conditioning, you will be prepared for national certification exams from the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Nationally endorsed. This degree is endorsed by the NSCA Education Recognition Program, which recognizes and distinguishes approved and standardized strength and conditioning curriculum.
Hands-on internships. As part of your strength and conditioning degree, you will be placed in internships that enhance in-class learning and give you experience working with real athletes.

We are committed to making your exercise science degree affordable as well as accessible. We offer a low per-credit-hour fee and don’t require a residency, saving you travel and related costs. You’ll have 16 weeks to complete each course in the bachelor of sports coaching program and your books are included.
