The United States Sports Academy is developing a new print and digital alumni directory to enable alumni to keep up with each other and with the Academy. Alumni are encouraged to respond to the book’s publisher as it is currently compiling up-to-date biographical, employment and contact information.
For the third time, the Academy has partnered with industry leader Harris Connect Inc., a national producer of alumni directories, to produce the book. The Academy has worked with Harris Connect in the past to produce alumni directories and determined it was time to do a new edition to include recent graduates and update information on past graduates.
Harris Connect is currently contacting Academy alumni to gather current information for the book. As these contacts are made, alumni are being offered an opportunity to make an advance purchase of the publication. Also, it is important that Academy alumni note that the publisher will give them the opportunity to provide brief biographical information as well as a photo to be used in the book. Alumni are encouraged to have these items ready when logging on to the Harris site.
“The United States Sports Academy updates the Alumni Directory every few years because this provides a great opportunity to compile the latest and most accurate information on our alumni, as well as offering the Academy’s alumni and friends a valuable resource for keeping up with each other,” said Academy President Dr. T.J. Rosandich.
“The Academy encourages all alumni to work with the Harris Connect representatives to help ensure that the Alumni Directory is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as possible.”
Harris Connect will integrate the data it gathers with Academy records to produce a thorough and comprehensive printed directory, which will also be available in a digital format. The directory is scheduled to be published in December 2016.
