Dr. Jordan Moon, the Department Head of Sports Fitness and Health at the United States Sports Academy, will present at the Arnold Strength Training Summit, March 4-7 2010 in Columbus, Ohio.
The title of Dr. Moon’s presentation is “Body Composition: Research & Practical Application.” Moon’s lecture will focus on non-clinical body composition analysis techniques, with special attention paid to measurement protocols. Participants can learn to how calculate their own test-retest reliability and learn how to determine if changes in body composition are “real” or just measurement error.
The Arnold Strength Training Summit presents nationally recognized experts in sports training to offer the latest information on fitness and performance development. The summit includes a certification program that supports training for appearance and fitness.
Dr. Moon is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He has trained all levels of athletes, including professionals in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL) and the National Hockey League (NHL).
