The United States Sports Academy is inviting its alumni from the past and present to a graduation ceremony and alumni cookout as the institution marks its 50th birthday with a Founder’s Day celebration that will recognize the institution’s rich past and promising future.
The Founder’s Day celebration will be on the Academy campus in Daphne, Ala., on 21-22 April 2022. Included in the celebration are a commencement ceremony for recent graduates, alumni cookout, and a sports symposium that will be open to the public.
The Alumni Cookout on Thursday, 21 April 2022 is free and open to graduates of the past and present to visit with Academy faculty and staff, tour the Academy’s sport art museum and enjoy a traditional southern cookout.
On Friday, April 22, 2022, the free 50 Years of Sport Education Symposium will feature a highly regarded panel of speakers to be announced soon. The symposium will cover sport education, art, and international sport in three separate segments.
