On Tuesday, 19 May, Dr. T.J. Rosandich, Vice President and COO of the United States Sports Academy, who is currently traveling on business in Asia, met with the students and faculty who are participating in the International Certification in Sports Management (ICSM) program being delivered in cooperation with the Sport Authority in Thailand (SAT).

The Academy and the SAT have delivered the ICSM program in Bangkok every year since the relationship first began in 2003. The same is true for the International Certification in Sports Coaching, a second continuing education program being offered to the SAT by the Academy.

There are six sessions taught as part of the program, including Sports Facility Management, Elite Sports Development, Sports Marketing, Sports Public Relations, Sports Event Planning, and Sports Law.

The program is currently in its third teaching course, Sports Marketing, which is being taught by Dr. Dave Shrock, who graduated summa cum laude with a doctoral degree in Sports Management from the Academy in 2009. Dr. Shrock also taught the same ICSM course last year.

The United States Sports Academy is an independent, non-profit, accredited, special mission Sports University created to serve the nation and world with programs in instruction, research, and service.
