DAPHNE, Ala. – Sports fans, set your online-viewing alerts to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the next edition of the United States Sports Academy’s Sports Talk program.
This week Sports Talk moderator Dr. Steve Butler welcomes Dr. Brandon Spradley and Dr. Vincent Ramsey to the show, where they will discuss sports-related concussions. They will discuss the recent movie “Concussion” that spotlights the concussion problem in the NFL. They will also discuss a program the Academy is working on, in collaboration with the University of South Alabama, to educate local high schools on the proper concussion protocols. Sports Talk features commentary on a wide range of current events in the sporting world, usually in a panel-discussion forum with Butler, Dean of Academic Affairs at the Academy, serving as moderator.
