A group of faculty and leaders who were instrumental in the early success of the United States Sports Academy recently visited the campus to reminisce and revisit the institution that they helped build. “These people were truly critical in the development of the Academy,” said Dr. Thomas P. Rosandich, founder and President Emeritus. “They were in the trenches in the early days and it was tough. They came aboard to make it happen and they did.” Visiting on 8 April 2016 were, left to right, Dr. Donn Renwick, former Chair of Sports Management and current Distance Learning Faculty member; Mr. David Voskuil, former Dean of Student Services; Rosandich; Dr. Albert “Skip” Applin, former Dean of Academic Affairs; and Dr. Von Johnson, former Chair of Sport Fitness.
