Casi Callaway, the executive director of the Mobile BayKeeper, will be the guest speaker at the Eastern Shore Exchange Club’s meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, 15 April at the United States Sports Academy.

BayKeeper works to protect the beauty, health and heritage of the Mobile Bay watershed. Callaway is responsible for coordinating public education, community organizing, research and fundraising. She holds four gubernatorial appointments and serves on boards of several local, state and regional environmental organizations. Mobile BayKeeper has more than 3,500 members and deals with a number of health protection issues.

The Eastern Shore Exchange Club meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month. Founded in 2008, the club promotes Americanism and raises funding for local agencies whose mission is the prevention of child abuse in the area, including the Exchange Club Family Center of Mobile and Care House in Baldwin County.
