The United States Sports Academy’s 1990 Sport Artist of the Year, Blair Buswell, appeared May 8 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, to answer questions about his work, which includes almost 100 bronzed busts for the Hall and one of Academy President and CEO Dr. Thomas P. Rosandich.
Football and art fans were able to tweet questions to Buswell, too.
The former backfield mate of Jim McMahon at Brigham Young University has been producing busts of Hall of Fame inductees since 1983. He also happens to be last month’s Academy Artist of the Month: http://ussa.edu/news/buswell-named-academys-artist-of-the-month-for-april/.
