DAPHNE, Ala. – Sports fans, set your online-viewing alerts to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the next edition of the United States Sports Academy’s Sports Talk program.
This week, Sports Talk moderator Dr. Stephen Butler; Dr. Bret Simmermacher, Academy Chair of Sports Coaching; and Ben Billman, doctoral teaching assistant; will give their assessment as Major League Baseball reaches mid-season. By this week, most teams will have played around 80 games in their 162-game schedules. The Academy Sports Talk team will give its first half awards and make predictions for the second half of the season.

Sports Talk features commentary on a wide range of current events in the sporting world, usually in a panel-discussion forum with Butler, Dean of Academic Affairs at the Academy, serving as moderator.
