Pam Reifinger, right, winner of the $100 Academy Bookstore gift certificate drawing

Ms. Pam Reifinger of Hummelstown, Pa., is the lucky winner of the $100 Academy Bookstore gift certificate drawing for those who participated in the recent alumni survey.

Reifinger graduated from the Academy in 2003 with a Master of Sports Science degree in sports management and is currently in the doctoral program at the Academy. Her name was drawn at random from among the alumni who responded to the survey and elected to enter the drawing.

Reifinger is an assistant softball coach at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, and also works as a senior systems analyst at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. She is active in youth sports, coaching the Hershey Challenger Team, a baseball team comprised of special needs males and females from five to 20 years of age. An avid cyclist, she uses her biking interests to raise funds for support and education of women with breast cancer.

“On behalf of the United States Sports Academy, I congratulate Ms. Reifinger and thank all alumni who took the time recently to respond to our alumni survey. Regular feedback from our alumni is vital to the Academy in achieving its missions of teaching, research and service,” said Academy President Dr. T.J. Rosandich.
