The United States Sports Academy has teamed up with GBSB Global Business School to provide an online, instructor facilitated sports marketing course to students at the Barcelona-based institution.
The 10-week post-secondary, non-degree sports marketing course is being taught by the Academy’s director of doctoral studies Dr. Fred Cromartie and chair of sports management Dr. Brandon Spradley. The course launched this month and covers sport marketing principles and the elements of the marketing mix. Topics include advertising, promotions, pricing, sponsorships, and market segmentation.
The Academy in 2020 agreed to work with GBSB Global Business School to teach its world renowned post-secondary, non-degree sport education programs to students there utilizing computer mediated technology. The Academy is an acknowledged leader in the field having first placed its courses completely online more than 25 years ago.
