The Academy is Proud to Announce the Launch of its New App

With the usage of mobile devices increasing every year, it can be extremely difficult to create meaningful connections to consumers; college students are no exception. Although the Academy’s website is already responsive to appear on phones and tablets, the creation of an app was another way for the Academy to be present in the various mediums that students and consumers use to access information every day.

Found in the Google Play and Apple App store, the new “US Sports Academy” app allows users access to key resources all in one place. They can explore current news stories about contemporary issues in sport on The Sport Digest, read peer-reviewed articles on The Sport Journal, and receive the latest Academy news. It also archives videos of Sports Talk, the Academy’s weekly live broadcast on hot topics in sport. Users can also watch videos and read more about the Academy’s programs and degrees. App users are encouraged to engage on social media including Facebook and Twitter and are able to sign up for exclusive monthly e-newsletters. Access to the bookstore via the app also makes it extremely convenient for users to purchase their books, gifts, school apparel, and even fine art prints.
