DAPHNE, Ala. — The United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala., recently hosted more than 60 students from Mobile’s Murphy High School for tours and information sessions about career opportunities in sport. The students were treated to tours of the Academy’s Human Performance and Sports Medicine laboratories, as well as the Academy’s American Sport Art Museum and Archives during the visits on Dec. 1-2, which also included teachers from Murphy, one of Mobile County’s largest public high schools. As part of the visit, the students received a commemorative poster from the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
The United States Sports Academy is an independent, non-profit, regionally accredited, special mission Sports University created to serve the nation and world with programs in instruction, research, and service.
