The United States Sports Academy’s master’s degree programs were recognized for their quality, affordability, and flexibility by Intelligent.com, a service that helps students make informed decisions about higher education programs.
The Academy’s Master of Sports Science degree in sports management was honored as one of the top programs of its kind in the country for 2020. In the Master’s in Sports Management Degree category, the Academy’s Master of Sports Science degree was lauded as the program with the “Best Dual Degree Option.” The institution’s sports management program at every level were also touted for having multiple start dates among the top 50 online sports management degree programs in the country.
In addition, the Academy’s Master of Sports Science degree in sports coaching was ranked as one of the top 40 degrees in that field. The Academy’s program was celebrated as the most flexible sports coaching master’s degree program in the country.
The Intelligent.com student-focused comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of 1,604 accredited colleges and universities. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.
The Intelligent.com 2020 rankings were calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment, and leading third-party evaluations. Intelligent.com analyzed hundreds of schools with comparable programs on a scale of 0 to 100, with the United States Sports Academy making it to the final list. The methodology uses an algorithm that collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each university’s degree program.
It is great that USSA was selected for the rankings but it is still on the bottom of the best 49 sports management programs when it should be on the very top given the Academy was one of the first (or the first) sports management programs in the country. Perhaps its because USSA does not have real admissions standards but accepts basically anyone who can meet the Academy’s minimum admissions requirements.
